A social media sensation and an earthquake simulator highlight a robust offering for this year's fair, coming August 1-4.
Year five of the Seattle Art Fair is here!
We’re thrilled to announce the full list of exhibitors and programming for the upcoming Seattle Art Fair, presented by AIG, being held this year August 1-4. With daily talks, special projects and performances, as well as over 100 galleries from around the world, the fifth installment of the fair looks to be the best one yet.
“The Seattle Art Fair turns five this year. We are so pleased to have been involved since its inception,” said James Harris of James Harris Gallery, Seattle Art Fair Dealer Committee Member and 2019 Exhibitor. “Each year the fair has gotten more and more engaging for the Seattle audience. It is exciting to be a part of this celebration of the arts.”
The full list of galleries can be found here.
Held at CenturyLink Field Event Center, the 2019 fair features a host of renowned artists with a full list of programming that ranges from the ASMR performances of social media phenom Bread Face to a demonstration from Stephanie Dinkins and her voice-controlled AI robot Not The Only One (N’TOO). Patrons are invited to view the full list projects and talks here.
“The programming at the Seattle Art Fair this year is eclectically topical,” said Nato Thompson, Seattle Art Fair Artistic Director, who returns for his second year. “We were inspired by the Wunderkammers, cabinets of curiosity from the 16th century that displayed artifacts garnered and pilfered from across the seven seas.”

The four-day event begins with an opening night preview on Thursday, August 1 and continues throughout the weekend with daily opening hours at 11:00am. With each day packed with Projects & Talks and nearly 100 galleries to explore, the fair will run until 8:00pm on Friday, 7:00pm on Saturday and 6:00pm on Sunday. Make sure you arrive early to enjoy the full scope of the events!
Last year’s Seattle Art Fair was a huge success. It featured two, 14-foot tall puppets by Emmy Award set designer and artist Wayne White, and MacArthur Fellow Trevor Paglen’s Orbital Reflector satellite. Take a look back at 2018 in our image gallery.
